  1. I live in the town land of Aughavilla, in the Parish of Drumlane, and barony of Lower Loughtee.
    There are twelve families in Aughavilla and the population is about forty two. The oldest person in the townland is Mrs O'Reilly who is over eighty. She can tell many stories in English but she cannot speak Irish. The names of the families are O'Reilly, McGoldrick, McGovern, Maguire, Campbell, Gaffney, Leddy, Smyth, Moore, and there are three families called Fitzpatrick.
