    I had a foal on Sunday last,
    went out and skip and play
    He met two police on the way, it
    been the Sabbath Day,
    The foal being young and innocent
    he didn't know the law,
    He stepped up to the the sergeant
    where he saw a long beard upon his jaw
    And thought with him to have a joke
    but found his mistake.
    II
    The police they surrounded him,
    and a prisoner they did make.
    They said if he would tell his master's
    name, that they would set him free.
    The foal says "Im no castle-hack
    and ne'r intends to be
