    There are many customs attached to marriages aound this locality.

    There are many customs attached to marriages around this locality. For instance after the wedding breakfast strawmen pay a visit to the bride's father's house. They sing songs, play music and dance.
    The groom pays some money to the poor wait outside the chapel. They in their turn throw rice on the groom and bride.
    The bride is generally given a dowry by her parents. Sometimes they are given money. Sometimes they get cattle, furniture or lands.
