  1. The people of long ago made every thing by hand. They had no machines.
    They thatched by hand.
    They made baskets creels and churns by hand.
    Thatching isn't done as well now as in ancient times. It is not as common now. There are more slated houses now, than thatched. John Kennedy, Teemore is a good thatcher. James McGovern, Lagan and Pat Brady Feddaragh thatch also.
    Mr Toner, Bridge Street, Belturbet and Mr Sexton Miltown make churns Mr Clemenger Drumcole makes baskets and creels. He could make
