    I have heard talk of a Priest reading Mass in a place called Corrindub, in the Penal times. The Priest did'nt know at any time but soldiers would come to pursue and at times he was followed far into the mountains. There were houses built in secret places for the Priests to say Mass in. At other times the Priests would say Mass in the peoples' houses'. It is said that Mass was said in Aughrim and that at one
