  1. Hidden Treasure
    I have heard it said often there was a treasure hidden in a big hill in Mucklagh. Once some men went to unearth it. When they came near the hill they heard noise and roaring. The men went on but when they came almost to the spot there came a band of fairies and asked them what did they want. The man turned on their heels and when they got home they were very frightened.
