  1. If a thing is very funny you would say
    "It would make a cat laugh".
    If you are sitting at the fire and some body out working and when he would come in you would say to him "When you are on your feet, shut up the rest of the houses," he would say "You that is wet bring the water".
    If a person is very polite you would say "He is too sweet be wholesome.
    "All is not lost that's in danger" is said when you are encouraging a person.
    "It is an ill wind that blows no body good", means no matter what bad thing is done it is doing some body good.
    If you are depending to two things and both fail, you would say,
    "Between two stools you come to the ground"
    "Putting the cart before the horse".
    If you are telling a story and you begin at the end of the story.
    "Feeding a dog his own tail" was said by the farmers about the bounty on cattle.
    "As if a person was telling a story, and his friend was standing by, he could say "Ask my brother am I a rougue".
