  2. There are many words and sayings of the ancient Irish people, still used in Ireland everyday. Most of these words are direct from the Irish language.
    Some of them are:-
    Cipeens - sticks.
    Crosna - small sticks
    praisgin = apron
    caley = short visit
    fáilte = a welcome
    Mordálac = proud
    brogues = boots
    gub = mouth
