  1. Maxwell Boyle was the last local landlord in this district. His family had been settled in this locality for over 200 years. Boyle was looked upon as a very bad and severe landlord. Squire Moore who came before this landlord was very kind and generous.
    The landlord first came into possession of his land by conquest. The land was divided into farms and was also sub-divided on the families on marriage. Evictions have been carried and evicted people went to some other vacant house or other countries.
