    a cloth for about a half hour. Brown sugar and water is added in equal proportions, and sometimes the juice of orange lemon. The urn is put in a wooden keg or cask, and is left aside for a couple of months before used.
    Ale-plant is a common drink in my district. It is a fine stimulant in the summer months, if it is properly made. It is said that it originates in the brewery.
