    The horse hole, a deep pool in the Annagh. It is said that people used to swim horses and bullocks here. It is also said that phantom calves were seen on the hillside over the pool, and that they would disappear into the pool when anyone approached.
    Crowley
    The grey hut or shaking scraw. The Cassies Mór on the road to Kingscourt running through Crowley. The coach went down the Cassie one day. Horses and all fell in Ruxton's field, the wall Ruxton's wall was built and eventually the road was changed.
