    little bird flies after the cuckoo. The cuckoo lays her egg on the ground and puts it in the bog lark's nest. When the young cuckoo is hatched she throws the other birds out of the nest and the lark treats her as her daughter. When the young cuckoo is able to fly she would not get food for herself and would die of starvation and so the lark puts worms and grubs into the cuckoo's mouth and that is why she flies after her.
