    Time swiftly passes
    And drink a health to your far-off land.
    To your lakes and mountains your vales and fountains.
    Where oft in boyhood you sued to roam!
    Poor exile, pining a distant clime,

    We will banish sadness and drink with gladness.
    To the days you spent round sweet Mullagh hill.
    Sme broken-hearted from home had parted.
