    As they sleep in their dark abode,
    With the damp earth piled above their head
    Uncouscious of their load.
    Here look at the moss-grown tombstones
    You will see by the age and the name,
    So short a time we are given
    To walk by the old mill-stream.
    But time is growing onwards.
    One drop from the water-fall
    It glides away like a shadow.
    And so shall we, mortals all."
