    There are four corners on my bed.
    There are four angles over head.
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
    God bless the bed that I lie on.

    God within and God without.
    God bless all round about.
    God spare me my ovesight.
    God spare me my limbs.
    And God spare me my right hand to bless myself.

    God bless daddy and mammy and all in the house.
    O'Angel of God my Guardian dear.
    To Whom His love commits me here.
    Ever this day be at my side.
    To light and guard to rule and guide.
