    There are two Holy Wells in the district St Bridget's well at Cuilcagh and St Ciarans well at Carnaross. On the first saturday night in August poeple go to Ciaran's well to be cured of diseases. There is said to be a fish in this well and he appears at twelve a clock on the said saturday night and whoever sees the fish first will be cured of any disease. There is no cure in St Bridgids well but when
