  1. St Bridget's well is situated about two miles east of Virginia. The well is situated in a field called "Leabhaidh Gráinne". The field gets its name from a place in the corner of the field. It is believed that Grainne rested there when she was pursued by Finn.
    Raffoney Graveyard is situated a few perches from the well. There are other ruins of an old church in the graveyard. At the time St. Bridget lived monks lived in the church. It is believed that St. Bridget went to visit these monks. She rested beside the well and blessed it. It was afterwards called St. Brigid's Well.
    The well itself is roofed with stones. In under the roof a few inches above the surface of the water there is a niche in which a statue
