- There are many games played in this district. In this particular game a big girl stands in the centre of a ring formed by smaller boys and girls. These hold hands and dance round the big girl saying to her:-
Mother buy me a milking can, a milking can,
Mother buy me a milking can,
He! Hi! Ho!
The girl answers:-
Where will I get the money, the money,
Where will I get the money, He! Hi! Ho!
The children then say:-
Can't you sell your father's bed, your fathers bed,
Can't you sell your father's bed. He! Hi! Ho!
The girl then says:-
Where will my father sleep, my father sleep.
Where will my father sleep. He! Hi! Ho!
The smaller children answer:-
Can't he sleep in the baby's bed, the baby's bed.
Can;t he sleep in the baby's bed, He! Hi! Ho!(continues on next page)
