It is believed that he was studying for the priesthood but that some misfortune happened to him and, that he was compelled to abandon his studies for that aim. He has a house now in the vicinity of Baileborough. He has a sack in which he carries bottles. He visits Virginia about every fortnight.

  2. Owen Connolly is a man that has recently come to live in this district. He gathers porter bottles and sells them in the town. He goes round the country every day gathering porter bottles. He carries them into the town on his back in a sack. He is drunk three or four times a week, and is always cursing
