  1. Terenence Carroll, Burnew, Virginia, Co. Cavan has the cure of the whittle. The person that has the whittle goes to him and he puts a plaster on it. If it is not better in a week he goes to him again and he repeats the process and the afflicted person is cured. He got this cure from his father and he would tell no one how he does it.

  2. The cure for a toothace is to get a white stone of a grave and keep it to the afflicted persons cheek and say three Hail Mary's and the toothace will go.
