- (continued from previous page)a man was digging a hole near the site of the church and he found bones in it. There was a hard bank each side of the hole. The stones belonging to the church were used to build a ditch. There are a few old people who remember seeing the old walls standing. When these old people asked their grandfather how old was the church he said it was over two hundred years old.
