  1. There is an old monument in a field of Mrs. Connell's in the townland of Ballaghanea. There were two giants long ago and they began to fight. One killed the other and he buried him there. This grave goes under the name of the "Giant's Grave. There are two big stones standing up one at each end of the grave. They are about six feet over the clay and the same under it.
