    and the friends had another son. The pair of boys were playing with a gun. The gun went off and shot the landlord's son. After that the landlord sold the land.

  2. Our family lived in Drumallaght for five generations. Mr. Sankey was the landlord and he was a very severe man. He lived outside Virginia and the tenants had to walk up and pay their rent. If they were a penny short he wouldn't take the money. If they were in arrears, he would put them out of their own homes by force. These poor people had to build mud huts.
