    The Rose.
This is an external sore something like an abscess. In this district the sufferer throws money into a well in Mr Anthony McEnroe's farm; then rubs the water to the affected part.
    Whitlow
A whitlow generally comes on a thomb or finger. The cure is made from a herb. Mrs Gilsenan of Beherna has the cure. She makes a plaster from this herb.
    Jaundice
Jandice is also cured by a liquid made from an herb. Mrs Gilsenan has this cure also.
