    During the flight into Egypt the Holy Family rested at at a place where rushes were growing and Our Lord went playing in the rushes and the top of one of them entered his eye and from that day until this the tops of rushes are withered.

  2. There is a ''Stray Sod'' on Charles Boylan's land between the townlands of Toneylion and Mullycastle.
    The late Ned McLoughlin repeatedly stated that he had been put astray, while returning to Kill from his Ceili in Mullycastle, when passing over this spot.
