  1. Cure for the Liver
    Dandelion roots are good for the liver. They should be washed and stewed gently for about an hour. Strain into a jug when cold. Take a wine glass full every morning. Dandelion flowers make an excellent and wholesome wine.
    Cure for the Liver
    A handful of parsley, freshly picked, washed well, put into a pan and brought to the boil makes parsley tea, which is good for light liver trouble.
