    Get a horse-hair and tie it on the angle-berries and it will take them off.

    Bottle two pounds of treacle and a half-pound of salts to the animal. Boil a quantity of wild strawberry plant in water, give a bottle full of the liquid obtained to the animal half an hour after the other dose. Keep the animal warm.

  3. Cure for hiccough No. 64
    Take nine sips of water
    Eat a pinch of sugar.
    Give a person a sudden fright.
    Take a deep breath and hold it as long as you can. If not successful, repeat.
