  1. There was a man living by himself in a two roomed cottage. One night the man went to a dance. There were a crowd of other young men going to the dance also and when they found that he was not there they got a wandering donkey and put it into a room. They man was sleeping in the kitchen and when the man came home the men stayed outside to see what would happen and when he went to bed the donkey came down from the room the man thought it was a ghost and said "In the name of God who are you?".

See a pin and pick it up,
All the day you'll have good luck,
See a pin and pass it by,
You'll need a pin before you die.
