  1. About sixty years ago a few neighbours from Killtreasna went on their usual visit to play cards in an old school in Wateraughey.
    When they reached the school they started to play a game of "25." They played on till it was twelve oclock. Then the male bird crew on his roost twelve times. Then a man opened the door and said "Give me a hand." So he sat down at the table and they gave him a hand. He played on for some time 'til some of the men dropped a card
    Then they took a candle to look for it they saw that the man they were playing with had a "Cloven Foot." When they saw who they had they were not long going home.
