  1. Long ago before the good way's of travelling came into fashion the roads were not in as good a way as now, so therefore they were very common ever to the houses in the top of the mountain.
    One old road runs from Belville gates up the mountain has many old legends attached to it.
    From time to time each one who travelled after hours has told of something seen or heard.
    One tells us how a large coach with eight horses was seen and disappeared three times in the one spot.
