    In olden times match-making was the custom. Where a few friends of the boy would go to the home of the girl who would have a fortune they would bring a bottle of whiskey with them and they would arrange a marriage after a hard bargain about the money she had, finally a second visit the marriage would be settled.
    On the wedding night there would be a big spree and straw men would gather round the house cheering for the Bride and Groom then the would get drink and dance with the Bride and enjoy themselves.
