    Of Molly and Spicads you may talk of clubs and committees But I know not far from here to match the best of these It's where the boys of Corlislea their of leisure spend.
    And daily meet for converse sweet at Bernie's gable end.
    No local press has Corlislea but any one they choose from day to day with nought to pay they learn the latest news. From round beside far and wide
    They are sure their way to wend across the town and slither down at Berni's gable end.
    From Ardkill mountain men are sent to rule them to a man
    But their affairs their wants and cares they fail to understand
    The Molly set around them get their munds to twist and bend
    To get the true and proper view
    at Bernie's gable end.
    But soon we'll have on Irish ground a parliament once more
    To meet debate and legislate as in the days of yore
