  1. In this district there are many forts and Woodlawn which is beside our house, is a large one.
    It is made up of two rings with big trees growing round them. One night there were many little men seen in it and they were playing football. They had green caps and red coats and white trousers on them. A man was going the road and saw them playing.
    He went in to catch them and when he was near them they all disappeared in under a beech tree that is in the middle
