    King William defeated King James at Clady in 1688
    In olden times a hedge school was carried on in Cavanaweary.
    There is supposed to be a tunnel in Coolyslin which goes to Croghan Kill.
    Castlefin was a good business town. There was a large tannery in it, remains of which can still be seen. The boats came up to Castlefin from Strabane with com
    Fairs were held in Clady at one time. A fair called "The Stone Fair of Clady" was the last to be held there. The people began to fight and throw stones at each other - hence the name. People were afraid to come to the village afterwards.
