  1. There are twelve families living in Crenagh. There are two fully slated and two half thatched and half slated houses and the rest are all thatched. There are four old people over 70 living there. They do not know Irish. Houses were more numerous locally in former times. There are two in ruins now, and the rest are lossed. Some of the land is hilly and more parts are good. There are 11 acres of bog. There is no wood. There is one lake in Crenagh. There are two rivers, one bordering Crenagh and Coundry and one bordering Cranagh and Coragh.
