    2 A cure for warts is, if you happen to find a snail without looking for it, put the sign of the cross on the wart. Then stick the snail on a thorn until it rots and as it dries up, the wart will dry up as well.
    3. A cure for mumps is to get a donkey's winkers and put the bits in your mouth. Then get some person to lead you around the pig sty nine times.
