There are four angels on the spread
Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, God bless the bed that I lie on
5) As Peter sat on a marble stone
Our Lord Savior came to him and him alone
Peter Peter, why do you ache with the toothache
And if you say this prayer once a day for my sake. You will never have the toothache.
6) As I am going to my bed at night
I don't know but I am going to my grave
If I die before I waken I give my soul to God to keep
God be the branch and Mary be the flower. Sweet Jesus may be with me at my dying hour.
7. I see the new moon and the new moon sees me. I love the new moon and the new moon loves me
