    'Leckna mumps'. Leckna was cured, by being dragged round the pig-sty with a halter.
    'A sty on the eye'. was cured by pointing nine gooseberry thorns at the eye and throwing one away.
    'A cut'. A cut was cured by pulling a leaf of 'slanlies', chewing it, and putting it on the cut.

  2. The 'dirty mouth' may be cured by any person who has not seen his father. The latter blows his breath on the person who has the dirty mouth. Then he goes out and in three times, and comes back after three days and does the same.
