  1. Travelling folk still visit this district. The commonest around this district are Caffrey "the bottle man" and McChan commonly known as "McChan the ass jockey".
    When Caffrey came out first he used to walk. I heard him say that he often walked a distance of twenty miles daily. Later on he got a van and pony. He used to gather bottles, rags, and horse hair and instead he gave a card of pins or a few needles.
