    Additional Irish words that are in common use in Carrickabawn district.
    Beesum - bunch of heather used for sweeping.
    Meitheil - a crowd of work men giving a day work to a neighbour.
    Céisóg - a young sow.
    D'aimsighin - a blow or slap
    Go dona, or donaigh - very poorly
    Cithan or citóg - left handed person
    Leisce - lazy
    Pinghinn - penny
    Buaille - a milking field, or field where milking cows are kept at night in Summer.
    Cingcise - Pentecost Time.
