  1. The swallow builds her nest in a byre or old house or ruins. The swallow's nest consists of moss and small sticks and is lined with hair and feathers. She lays white eggs, with blue dots on them.
    The swan builds her nest by the edge of a lake or river or on a small island. The nest is made with small sticks and is lined with old withered reeds. She lays big eggs larger than a goose egg.
    The wren builds her nest in a white thorn bush or in a mossy ditch. The nest consists of moss or grass and is lined on the inside with hair and small feathers. She lays about twenty small eggs.
