    to be fairs in villages the same sort as are in towns now. The sheep are sold in a place by themselves too. When they are sold, they are marked with a "raddle".

  2. The local fair is held in Cavan. The fourteenth of May is the largest fair in the year. It is the second annual fair for horses and cattle.
    Pigs are sold at Railwayroad, the cattle are sold in a small field near the back of the town.
    When a dealer is buying an animal, first he asks the owner of the animal, how much does he want for it. The owner usually asks more than the animal is worth.
