  1. On St Stephen's day the boys dress in old clothes and go out with the wren. They catch a wren and put it in a box, and one person carries it. They have mouth organs, and buckets and fiddles, and the boys go from house to house, playing music. They also carry a box for the money they get from people. When evening comes they divide the money between them and go home.
