  1. St Stephen's Day is called Boxing Day and it falls on 26th of December.
    People go about from place to place playing musical instruments.
    They also have a holly bush decorated with ribbons and a picture of a wren enthroned in the centre of the greenery and as they go along they chant the following verses;-
    The Wren, The Wren,
    The King of all birds
    St Stephens day it was caught
    in the furze,
    Although she is little, her
    family is great,
    Rise up, landlady and
    give us a treat
