  1. The number of meals which the people eat in olden times were four. These meals consisted of Black tea and eggs with milk. Some people worked in the morning before eating any food. Potatoes were eaten at the dinner. The kind of the milk which the people drank was Butter milk. In some houses the table was beside the wall and in others people had round tables which they put in the centre of the floor and the lifted it when not in use. They had tables called falling tables. Which they put in a hole in the wall.
    They had different kinds of Bread such as Boxty Bread and Oaten cake.
    Oaten cake was made from oaten meal which was made into dough with boiling
