    The Danes or no one else ever trusted these forts. The Irish lived in these forts to protect themselves. They built these facing each other so if an enemy was coming they would be ready. They put a ditch all round the forts. No one ploughed or planted crop there because it was said that the one who cut it would be haunted.

  2. Potato Crop
    Potatoes are grown every year on our farm. They sow about, two acres every year. The ground is dug up with a spade and sometimes it is scored with a plough. Very seldom the potatoes are put in drills round this part. The farmers draw
