  1. There are Fairy Forts in the districts of Quivey, Kevenagh, Derrastaten and Ratheelan. Each one of them is called a ring rath. One of these forts has a ring of stones around it and steps down in the centre. The rest of them are all bushed round. Long ago two men went down the steps to explore and it is said that they never came back.

  2. Coragh and Rathilin are in view of each other. There are pieces of land in through the forts. The are trees, bushes and whins growing in the forts. There are no holes in the forts.
