  1. Travelling Folk do not generally come to this district nowadays. But tramps beggars and men selling small articles come still. Frank Dolan sells, mirrors, tin basins, tin cans and other articles. He also gathers little kids. Paddy Mc abe gathers pennies or anything that he would get. John M govern sells pins.

  2. Our Landlord was Lord Lanesbouragh. He used to collect a rent twice a year in November and May. The people did not like to see him Landlord for they would rather have their own goverment. The rents were very high at that time but they are reduced now. When
