  1. My home district is in the townland of Derravona in the Parish of Drumlane. There are about sixteen families living in this townland and about fifty eight people altogether. The most common names are O'Reillys and Fitzpatricks and the commonest type of houses are thatched. This townland gets its name from an oak wood and a great bog that was found here in former times. The oldest people in this district are Mrs Rudden who is over
