    buried by the Yoemen about the 17th century as they were afraid of their enemies taking it. There have been no attempts made to unearth it as the inhabitants of the district are afraid to touch it. One day some people went to look at the bush and they heard a big cry at it two or three times. They ran away and since then no one touches this famous bloody bush.

  2. At Quivey Castle there was a big stone and all the people knew that there was gold hidden beneath the stone. One day two men and a woman went to get the gold. The men told her if she saw the gold to keep quiet. When they lifted up the stone, they say the gold. The woman spoke, and the stone slapped down on the gold.
    At Crom Castle there is an old garden and there is gold hidden in it beneath a great yew tree. There are three men going to look for it one is to be killed the other's will get the gold.
